In the year 2010, the Autobots and Decepticons had been at war for centuries. The Transformers had come to Earth, seeking refuge from their home planet of Cybertron, which had been ravaged by war. The Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, had sworn to protect the human race from the Decepticons, led by Megatron.

*[Somewhere in the deserts of Nevada - specifically Outpost Omega-One, which was hidden in an abandoned Cold War missile silo - The Autobots were getting on with their day, and prepping for an eventual mission. The human children - Jack, Raf and Miko - were chilling out on their after-school break. Optimus was currently writing coordinates in his data pad, Bulkhead was taking a nap, Wheeljack was tinkering and repairing his dual katana-like swords, Arcee was doing Arcee things (no one knew what she really did in her free time), Ratchet was figuring out how to stop the Energon supply crisis, Ultra Magnus was watching over the kids, and Bumblebee was trying to figure out how to work a human laptop.]*
